Frequently Asked Questions

The questions below are the ones our 24/7 support team is asked most often, every single day. They are written for real travelers — first time visitors planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip down the Kura, seasoned visitors heading back to the Caspian coast, families bringing grandchildren to see Baku's Maiden Tower, and business travelers flying in for a 48-hour meeting in Baku. If your situation does not appear below, our consultants are reachable at any hour through phone, email, WhatsApp, or live chat, and a real human will always answer.

Most non-GCC nationals need a visa to enter Azerbaijan. Citizens of more than seventy countries are currently eligible to apply for the Azerbaijan e-Visa online, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, most European Union member states, Japan, South Korea, and many others. Travelers from GCC countries do not require a visa for short visits, and visitors entering only the South Nakhchivan exclave resort area for up to fourteen days can use the free Nakhchivan exclave-only entry permit issued on arrival.

Still have a question that has not been answered here? Send us a message via the Contact Uspage and one of our consultants will reply, typically within a few hours. We update this page as new questions become common — if your question turns out to be useful for other travelers, we will add it with your permission and a short note of thanks.
